On Windows, the capture card shows up as a video input device, similar. I use an Elgato HD60 Pro capture card to ingest video from various devices. However, my question has more to do with hardware instead of software. Furthermore, It’s also capable of delivering an impressive array of resolutions and refresh rate combos ranging from 1440p at 144hz, to 1080p at either 120hz or 240hz. Yesterday I was overjoyed to have actually gotten my Elgato HD up and running on Linux for the first time. So it went from both of us hearing the delay under the waveout option to none of us hearing it using monitor capture and now only me hearing it using monitor only. Most of them would run either on Wine or in a Windows 10 VM, and the one program that won't I can find a Linux equivalent for. The Elgato MK.2 Pro stands out for being one of the best cards around that can deliver 4K content at 60fps. Using this method, my stream hears the audio perfectly with no delay over a time of 8 hours, but I still do. Why would this happen? Any ideas what the cause may be and how to fix it? So it went from both of us hearing the delay under the waveout option to none of us hearing it using monitor capture and now only me hearing it using monitor only. I'm using "capture audio only" for audio output mode and I set the device under advanced audio properties to "monitor only" so I could hear it. The HD60 and HD60 Pro are not supported (yet). Currently, only the original Game Capture HD is supported. The following guide is written with Ubuntu 17.04 in mind. This part isn't my concern, but I wanted to mention it anyway. The driver has been tested on several Linux distributions, including Arch, CentOS, and Fedora. This method had no audio delay, but it had audio pocket noises like static which only could be solved by restarting the elgato software. But after a while, I started using window capture and just capture the elgato software in full screen on another monitor. Originally, I used "Output desktop audio (waveout)" which would send the audio through my desktop so I and stream could hear. I've used the options game capture HD60 Pro and elgato game capture HD under device to no success. I use the video capture device source in OBS. So, as a test, I purchased an HD60 S and I got the same results. The results from it were that the device was running perfectly. I've contacted elgato about this and they gave me a program to download and run. I stream normally for 8 hours and the delay seems to happen over time. Here is the analysis for the Amazon product reviews: Name: Elgato HD60 X External Capture Card - Stream and Record in 1080p60 HDR10 or 4K30 HDR10 with Ultra-Low Latency on PS5, PS4/Pro, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One X/S, in OBS and More, Works with PC and Mac. I want to try and be as thorough with my questioning, so I may write a bit so I apologize in advance. I'm looking to fix an issue I've had with my audio from my capture card.
